Hi. I’m Allie, a writer, editor, and storyteller in California’s Bay Area.

I started out as a journalist at TIME, writing about technology and helping build the magazine’s early social presence. I then spent more than a decade at Facebook and Meta, where I built editorial programs, teams, and storytelling operations across Communications and Business Marketing.

Along the way, I led Facebook Stories, a documentary storytelling project about the remarkable ways people were using technology in their lives and communities. Later, I built editorial programs for businesses and entrepreneurs around the world. My work has taken many forms—from journalism and documentary film to executive storytelling, thought leadership, and global editorial programs—but the thing I’ve always cared about most is the story itself: finding what matters, why it matters, and the human being at the center of it.

I grew up in Indiana and studied journalism and sociology at Indiana University. I now live in the Bay Area, where I’m still drawn to stories about people, technology, culture, and the ways they shape one another.

And occasionally, I perform on stage. I believe deeply in the power of a good story—whether it’s told on a page, on a screen, or in a dark theater full of strangers.
